Andrea Flores, C-IAYT

Certified Yoga Therapist

I’m a Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT), with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals of all ages, health conditions, and personal needs. I work with clients in person across California—primarily in Los Angeles and Ventura counties—and also offer sessions a few times a year in Costa Rica. And for those not nearby, I will work with you online, wherever you are in the world.

In addition to my private yoga therapy practice, I work with the team at Re+active Physical Therapy & Wellness in El Segundo, CA. For several years, I’ve been part of their integrative program, collaborating with a brilliant team of neurologic physical therapists, occupational therapists, and neuropsychologists. Together, we combine yoga therapy and nervous system education with evidence-informed rehabilitation to support clients with complex neurological and chronic health conditions.

Clinical experience

Parkinson’s disease (PD), functional neurological disorder (FND/FMD), dysautonomia (including POTS), dystonia, chronic pain (incl. CRPS), hypermobility/Ehlers‑Danlos (EDS), scoliosis, vestibular disorders and PPPD, anxiety and stress, depression, and long‑haul fatigue/long‑COVID. Trauma‑informed, evidence‑informed yoga therapy focused on nervous system regulation—adapted for any stage.

At re+active PT & Wellness

I provide 1:1 yoga therapy alongside PT care in El Segundo, CA—breath retraining, gentle mobility, balance and gait training, pain modulation, strength progressions, and nervous system regulation. I co‑create simple home practice plans and coordinate directly with your DPT so your plan is clear, realistic, and doable.

How we’ll work

We’ll start with a simple conversation about what you’re noticing and what you want more of—ease, strength, confidence. Together we’ll choose one or two doable steps and a 5–15 minute home practice. Sessions weave breathwork, gentle, mindful movement, and rest with practical tools to settle your nervous system and reduce stress. You’ll get short home videos to keep, and we’ll adjust as you go—at your pace, in person or online.
